MyGrid announces its participation in a consortium that aims to bring flexibility to households

Updated: Jun 7

The consortium – initiated and led by Powernaut - is the culmination of months of behind-the-scenes preparations and intensive testing. The unveiling of the first wave of partners marks a significant milestone in the consortium’s mission to make decentralized energy easy and beneficial for everyone. Together, our smart assets bring a capacity of 20 MW to the market. That’s the equivalent of some 4,000 home batteries or the power output of eight wind turbines. 💥😮

What’s in it for you, owner of a ModuleOne?

With this capacity, we intend to go into the flexibility market. For ModuleOne owners, this means they can earn money by trading energy without the hassle. We take care of the trading while you rake in the money. According to Esforin’s simulations, 250 euro per 1 kWh per year was paid for flexibility in 2023, in front of the meter. It is our mission to offer these flexibility schemes to our customers, so behind the meter. Truly bringing the energy transition to households.

Our partners

We’re glad we passed the meticulous selection process and detailed technical stress-testing with flying colors, and we’re proud to be part of this select group of energy providers boasting state-of-the-art Energy Management Systems and a strong customer-first approach.

Expect more exciting developments

This is just the beginning. We’d like to thank Powernaut for their hard work and for this unique opportunity to demonstrate the power of decentral energy ecosystems. We’re more than ever committed to grow alongside our consortium partners, unlocking the benefits of the energy transition for as many households as possible.
